Cancellation Policy

Student Cancellation

Students who cancel their paid registration 14 calendar days or more before a course begins will receive a full refund of the registration fees. Students who cancel within 14 days calendar days of the scheduled course will incur a 10% penalty, which will be taken from the refund. All refunds will be processed via check within 14 calendar days of the cancellation. In no case shall Security Horizon be responsible for any fees other than the course registration.

Course "NO SHOWS"

Scheduled students who do not show for a class without notification prior to the class, or leave a class before course completion, will not be entitled to a refund, but may elect to attend a future open course.

Cancelled Course

All Courses are subject to minimum registered student requirements. Generally, a decision will be made 2 weeks prior to the start of the course whether the course has enough registered/interested students to hold the course as scheduled. Should Security Horizon, or its Hosts, be required to cancel a course, Security Horizon and/or its Host will notify each registered student of the cancellation and their options. Security Horizon cannot be responsible for any costs other than registration costs. Cancelled Course Options include:

• Transfer of Registration to another available Course
• 100% refund of registration fees (processed via check within 14 calendar days)
